Cuatrecasas assists Fibra Orion in the integration of San Matias wind farm

Cuatrecasas, through its team in Mexico City, has assisted Fibra Orion on the capital subscription and purchase of all the shares representing the capital stock of Fuerza Eólica de San Matias.

Thanks to this transaction, Fibra Orion integrates the San Matias wind farm into its investment portfolio, thus generating great value with a high sense of sustainability. The firm’s advisory services involved designing tailor-made tax and commercial strategies, which allowed us to address various particularities related to the legal nature of Fibra Orion, as well as complexities inherent to the transaction.
