Cuatrecasas assists in transfer of RRLL’s shares to BoyleSports

Cuatrecasas, through its office in Lima, has assisted the shareholders of Peruvian sports betting company RRLL on the transfer of 51% of its shareholding to BoyleSports (Gibraltar) Limited, as well as on the signing of a security interest agreement on the securities of RRLL’s shareholders.

This strategic partnership will consolidate RRLL’s online gaming brand, Timberazo, as a leading player in the market with the ability to compete on a level playing field with the major players in the industry, and will open doors regionally for BoyleSports, as this is the first time it has entered the Latin American market. This investment will also allow RRLL to migrate its platform and operate successfully in view of the new requirements under the new Peruvian regulation of remote sports betting.

Cuatrecasas’ team was led by partner Kiomi Osorio (pictured), together with lawyers Manuel Cruz, Giorgio Balza and Rodrigo Pérez, with the support of Alonso Benavides and Vasco Mariátegui.
