Cuatrecasas counsels Astara on the acquisition of a majority stake in Ovando

Cuatrecasas has represented Astara in the purchase of a majority stake in Ovando in Bolivia

 Cuatrecasas has counselled global mobility company Astara on the purchase of a majority stake in Ovando, a Bolivian company in the automotive sector.

This transaction was worked on in conjunction with a team from Indacochea & Asociados, which acted as local advisor to Astara.

Thanks to this transaction, Astara consolidates its presence in the Latin American market, in addition to Europe and Asia, specifically in Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Peru, and now also in Bolivia.

Cuatrecasas’ team included Madrid-based partner Alfonso Reina (pictured left) and Bogotá-based senior associate Carolina Trejos (pictured right).
