Cuatrecasas counsels MUFG on financing Termo Caribe Project
Cuatrecasas, through its Bogotá team, has counselled MUFG Bank on the structuring, negotiation and financial closing of the Termo Caribe Project, a 42 MW power generation plant.
This financing was structured through term loans and a letter of credit facility, which will allow Termo Caribe to build and commission the plant, located in the department of Bolivar (Colombia). It will also allow for the optimisation of financial costs.
Cuatrecasas’ team was led by partner Manuel Quinche (pictured), senior associate Natalia Arango, associates Felipe Londoño and Laura Salazar and junior associate Manuela Gaitán, with the support of senior associates Camilo Cardona and Fabio Ardila, associates Natalia Márquez and Juan Felipe Cortés and junior associate José Manuel Castillo.
