Cuatrecasas counsels on $500bn credit to RappiPay

Cuatrecasas has advised Bancolombia, Davivienda, Itaú Corpbanca Colombia and Banco de Bogotá in granting a loan to RappiPay for $500 billion Colombian pesos.

The firm Mendoza has advised RappiPay in the process of setting up the legal structure.

The funds will be used to promote financial inclusion in Colombia through the consolidation of RappiCard, as well as the expansion of its range of products and services.

RappiPay is a Fintech, authorized to operate as a financial entity, whose objective is to offer users easy, secure and transparent financial solutions.

Mendoza’s team included partner Mateo Mendoza, and associates Christina Brun, Rodrigo Domínguez, Luis Tolosa and Daniel Vargas.
