Cuatrecasas represents Sinersa in EGERBA acquisition

Cuatrecasas, through its Lima office, has represented Sindicato Energético (Sinersa) in the acquisition of 100% of the shares issued by Empresa de Generación Eléctrica Río Baños (EGERBA), owned by Volcan Compañía Minera.

Thanks to this purchase, which was valued at USD 31,700,000, Sinersa will strengthen its position in the energy sector, its commitment to responsible energy generation and will be able to continue growing with greater efficiencies.

Sinersa is a Peruvian company dedicated to the operation of hydroelectric generation plants. EGERBA is a company that owns the Rucuy hydroelectric power plant.

Cuatrecasas’ team was led by Oscar Trelles (pictured), with support from lawyers Guido Maeda, Álvaro Klauer and Angélica Congrains.
