Davis Polk advised Cosan on notes offering and tender offer

Brazilian ethanol and sugar producer Cosan instructed Davis Polk on a $500 million offering. 

Cosan is the world’s largest sugar and ethanol producer and also the largest natural gas distributor in Brazil. Its $500 million offering of 7.000% senior notes due 2027, was issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act.

Partner Manuel Garciadiaz led the Davis Polk team which advised Cosan and included lawyers in the São Paulo and New York offices of the law firm.
