Davis Polk advised Cosan on reopening of 2027 notes
Davis Polk advised Cosan Luxembourg, as issuer, and Cosan Indústria e Comércio, as guarantor, in a $150 million issuance by Cosan Luxembourg of 7.000% senior notes due 2027.
The transaction constitutes a further issuance of the $500 million 7.000% senior notes due 2027, which were issued on June 20, 2016 pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act.
Cosan is the world’s largest sugar and ethanol producer; the world’s largest grower of sugarcane and largest producer of energy from sugarcane.
