Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano adds 10 new lawyers, including two partners

Peruvian law firm Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano announced the arrival of partners Gustavo Lazo and José Talledo and eight other lawyers.

Lazo joins from Estudio Olaechea where he was head of tax, while Talledo is a former partner at Echecopar – Member of Baker & McKenzie International. Both partners will join the firm´s tax practice group which has experienced growing client demand for tax counsel.

The new lateral hires include Italo Carrano who joins from Ernst & Young and José Luis Medina, formerly with the High-Level Anticorruption Commission (“CAN-Anticorrupción”). Carrano joins the firm as counsel adding expertise in infrastructure, corporate and international arbitration while Medina is set to boost the firm’s compliance group.

In addition, six new associates joined the banking, M&A, mining and tax practice groups.
