Davis Polk advises Rumo Logística on equity offering

Davis Polk advised Rumo Logística, a Brazilian intermodal logistics operator, on its equity offering of 1,040,000,000 common shares.


Based in Brazil, Rumo is one of largest logistics operator in Latin America and focuses on rail transportation, warehousing, operation of terminals and other services. Its shares trade on the São Paulo Stock Exchange and the latest offering were were placed under Rule 144A and Regulation S, for an aggregate amount of approximately $740 million.

The Davis Polk team included partner Manuel Garciadiaz and other lawyers based in the New York, London and São Paulo offices.
