Davis Polk instructed on modified Dutch auction by Chilean utility

Davis Polk advised the dealer manager in a “modified Dutch Auction” cash tender offer by Empresa Eléctrica Angamos. 

Empresa Eléctrica Angamos is engaged in the generation, transmission and supply of electricity in northern Chile. The tender offer is for up to $300 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.875% senior secured notes due 2029.

Citigroup Global Markets served as dealer manager while Global Bondholder Services Corporation acted as the tender and information agent for the offer.

The Davis Polk capital team included partner Maurice Blanco and Rachel Kleinberg as well as associates based in the New York, Menlo Park and São Paulo offices.
