della Mônica Advogados announces two new partners

della Mônica Advogados, the labor boutique founded in 2021 and based in São Paulo, has two new partners: Marcus Brumano (pictured lefft) and Mariana Piva (pictured right).

With extensive experience in the labor area, both will work alongside founding partner Marcello Della Mônica. Marcus will head the firm’s advisory area and Mariana the litigation area.

With more than 20 years’ experience, Marcus was a member of the labor team at Demarest Advogados for almost 22 years. His practice has focused especially on the advisory area and on assisting national and foreign companies from a wide range of sectors. Over the last two decades, he has been at the forefront of emblematic cases involving mergers and acquisitions, compliance, due diligence, union negotiations, among others.

Mariana, for her part, has been practicing law for 20 years and has consolidated her career in the labor area, working at two of the largest law firms in Brazil: Machado Meyer and Demarest Advogados, where she was in charge of paradigmatic cases involving major judicial and administrative disputes. Before that, he worked for a leading banking institution. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from FGV Direito SP and specializes in Labour Law from PUC-SP. She also monitors undergraduate courses at FGV Direito SP in the area of labor and social security law, as well as multidisciplinary projects.
