Demarest advises Lupo on the acquisition of MC Malharia

Demarest Advogados advised Lupo, a century-old company leader in the Brazilian underwear market, on the acquisition of MC Malharia, a subsidiary of Cotece.

The transaction includes the lease of the property where the industrial plant is located and the transfer of assets and employees to Lupo.

This is the second acquisition of a factory by Lupo in 2022 and marks the intensification of its production capacity.

The closing of the transaction is subject to certain conditions, including the approval of the Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
