Demarest and Machado Meyer advise on TAESA’s issuance
Demarest advised Transmissora Aliança de Energia Elétrica – TAESA; Machado Meyer advised the coordinator Itaú BBA Assessoria Financeira on the 18th issuance of simple, non-convertible, unsecured debentures of TAESA, in two series, totaling BRL 800 million, under the automatic registration process, pursuant to CVM 160, and exclusively targeted at professional investors.
Oliveira Trust Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários acted as trustee.
The issuance was classified as “Green Debentures,” aligned with the Issuer’s Green Finance Framework and supported by an independent opinion from Sustainable Fitch.
