Dentons assists IDB Invest in $45m financing to Air-e
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas has assisted IDB Invest in financing Air-e, an energy provider for the Caribbean region of Colombia, through a long-term loan of up to USD $45 million for a term of eight years.
As a result, Air-e intends to finance its investment plan in the northern region of the country to improve the capacity and efficiency of its electricity grid in 39 of the 57 municipalities it currently serves as the main energy supplier. Air-e expects to improve the quality of service currently received by more than 1.3 million users.
