Dentons assists IDB Invest in financing to El Viajero Hostels
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas has assisted the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest) in a financing granted to El Viajero Hostels.
Through this financing, El Viajero Hostels expects to strengthen its service offerings in the jurisdictions described above, as well as increase its participation in the hospitality and tourism segment at the regional level. Likewise, the company expects to allocate a significant portion of the resources obtained through this financing to the adoption and deepening of its ESG agenda in the different countries where it currently operates.
El Viajero Hostels is a hostel platform headquartered in Colombia and with presence in multiple countries in the region such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina. Currently, El Viajero Hostels has 21 hostels and expects to create more than 930 direct jobs by 2030.
