Dentons promotes new director in Colombia
Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas has announced the promotion of senior associate Camila Fernández de Soto (pictured) to the position of director of the Commercial Law practice.
Commenting on her appointment, the new director stated: “I appraise that the provision of quality legal counsel, especially regarding to commercial and civil law, is a key factor for the growth and development of all the companies that operate in our country. Assisting our clients and promoting our practice area are some of the ambitious goals that we have set upon ourselves.”
Camila is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, awarded with the “Gabriel Giraldo S.J.” recognition for her outstanding academic performance. She obtained an LLM from Stetson University College of Law where she graduated at the top of her class. She joined Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas in 2018. She has more than 15 years of professional experience, mainly in commercial law, contractual matters and compliance, among other areas. Previously, she worked as an in-house lawyer for important Logistics and Oil & Gas companies.
