Dias Carneiro welcomes two new partners

Dias Carneiro has announced the arrival of new partners Maurício Chapinoti and Álvaro Brito Arantes

Maurício Chapinoti (pictured left) and Álvaro Brito Arantes (pictured right) will be joining the Dias Carneiro team in the areas of Tax and Customs, and Dispute Resolution and Civil Litigation, respectively.

Maurício Chapinoti has several years of experience, including work at law firms such as Pinheiro Neto Advogados, TozziniFreire e Vidigal Neto Advogados, and was also a member of the international taxation team at EY.

He holds a degree in Law from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a post-graduate degree in Tax Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) and a master’s degree in International Tax Law from the International Tax Center – Leiden University (Netherlands).

Alvaro Brito Arantes adds to the team with his almost 20 years of experience in the area of Strategic Civil Litigation. He has already worked at Machado Meyer Advogados, PK Advogados, Mattos Muriel Kestener Advogados and Muriel Medici Franco Advogados, having been a partner in the last two. He also worked for Johnson & Johnson.

He graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and is a specialist in Civil Procedural Law and in Judicial Recovery and Bankruptcy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP).

Alvaro Brito Arantes brings Marina Sampaio Galvani, Caio Augusto dos Reis, Isabela Tan Arcuri, and trainee Ana Clara Lazzari de Freitas to join his team at Dias Carneiro Advogados.
