DLA Piper counsels DLG on minority acquisition in Entre Ríos Crushing
DLA Piper Argentina has counselled DLG Group, Europe’s largest agricultural supply company, on the acquisition of a minority stake in Entre Ríos Crushing, an Argentinean company engaged in the crushing of soybeans for the production of animal feed and other derivatives of soybean meal and soybean oil.
The multi-million-dollar investment is part of a strategic partnership with the Argentinean agricultural cooperative ACA and is the start of a transatlantic cooperation between the two parties. With the investment, DLG also secures an annual import of up to 200,000 tonnes of segregated soybeans for the Northern European market, grown on deforestation-free land.
