Echecopar acts on Grupo Security’s acquisition in Protecta
Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, has acted as advisor to Grupo Security in the acquisition of an additional 2.97% stake in Protecta Compañía de Seguros from Grupo ACP Corp.
Following the closing of the transaction, Grupo Security now holds a 70% stake in Protecta. In October and December 2022 Grupo Security made two previous acquisitions.
Echecopar’s team was composed of partners León Larraín from the Santiago office and Paolo Robilliard (pictured) from the Lima office.
