Echecopar advises on equity bridge loan to Yapay
Estudio Echecopar, associated with Baker & McKenzie International, advised the lending banks (SMBC, BBVA, Bank of China, Intesa, Natixis) on an equity bridge loan granted to Consorcio Eléctrico Yapay (part of the ISA group).
The loan was guaranteed by Consorcio Transmantaro, in connection with the execution of the ‘TOCE-CEPI’ transmission projects, comprising the ‘Huánuco – Tocache – Celendín – Trujillo 500 kV link’ and the ‘Celendín – Piura 500 kV link’.
The execution of the projects will allow the delivery of clean energy from the wind power projects located in Talara, Piura and Cajamarca, and the strengthening of the National Interconnected Electricity System in the event of possible shortages due to emergencies. These new lines represent the largest power transmission investment awarded by ProInversión.
