ECIJA strengthens financial team in El Salvador

ECIJA El Salvador has announced the strengthening of its Finance team by adding Esmeralda Torres (pictured left) as a new partner and Nathania García (pictured right) as Chief Growth Officer.

Esmeralda Torres has more than 16 years of professional experience in the field of financial law. She currently provides legal services to Banks and Financial Institutions; she is in charge of bank deeds and registration and tax relief of documents at Centro Nacional de Registros. She holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas, and previously worked as managing partner of the firm Torres López y Asociados.

Nathania García Prieto has more than 15 years of experience as legal advisor in the areas of Corporate/M&A, Risk & Compliance. She has acquired her experience advising national and international clients in the electricity, telecommunications and health sectors. She has been part of teams in charge of judicial portfolios, with emphasis on Alternative Dispute Resolution. She holds a law degree from the Universidad Dr. José Marías Delgado.

Following these appointments, ECIJA’s office in El Salvador now has a team of 6 partners and 13 lawyers.
