PPU represents UC Christus in Medicien acquisition
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría has represented UC Christus in the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the Chilean companies Servicios Médicos Medicien, Laboratorios Medicien, Laboratorio Clínico Medicien Limitada and Inmobiliaria Medicien Limitada, dedicated to the provision of medical services, including their underlying assets consisting of medical centres, laboratories and sampling units.
This transaction was closed on 14 February for CLP$ 6,500,000,000, in which Colmena Salud and Colmena Holding, owners of Medicien, were advised by Barros & Errázuriz.
Barros & Errázuriz’s team consisted of partners Bernardo Simian Soza and Enrique Barros Vial, together with associates Axel Ewert Uribe and María José Bordalí Velasco.
PPU’s team was led by partner Juan Pablo Wilhelmy (pictured), with support from associates Martín Cruzat and Bárbara Bodelón.
