Eduardo Zuleta launched new arbitration outfit in Colombia
Eduardo Zuleta, one of Colombia´s most distinguished arbitrators, announced the launch of Zuleta Abogados Asociados.
The new firm, which started operations on January 31st, will eschew the conventional law firm model for an approach which is closer to that of a barrister´s chambers, affording more freedom for its members to practice. Zuleta Abogados will focus on international law, local and international dispute resolution, oil and gas, infrastructure, energy and human rights.
Eduardo Zuleta began his career at Baker & McKenzie in Colombia and became partner in 1988. In 2000, he left to form Zuleta & Partners, a disputes boutiques. The boutique merged with Gómez Pinzón Abogados to form Gómez-Pinzón Zuleta in 2008.
Zuleta is joined at the new firm by Gustavo Suárez, Antonio Aljure, Rafael Bernal, Rafael Rincon and the lawyers from his team at Gomez Pinzon Zuleta.
