Eguiguren promotes Ana Velásquez to partner
Eguiguren Abogados has announced the promotion of Ana Javiera Velásquez Osorio (pictured) as a new partner of the firm.
The firm’s founding partner Pedro Eguiguren, welcomed the lawyer’s new appointment and detailed that “Ana assumes as partner to lead the labour area and due to her experience support the defence in complex trials”.
Ana is a lawyer graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a diploma in Labour Law with a specialisation in Labour Procedure and Litigation from the same university. She is an expert in advising and litigating in civil and commercial trials, specialising in bankruptcy law.
She has also worked as a legal advisor to insolvency liquidators, handling the trials, preparing briefs, reviewing each of the verified claims, drafting reports, minutes of seizure and meetings, liaising with creditors and debtors during the proceedings. Before entering the insolvency field, she worked in the company Eclass, as academic manager of coordination of various courses given to companies, among which was the Mutual de Seguridad and Indumotora, among others.
