PPU counsels Capital Group on sale of Tanner Servicios Financieros stake
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría Chile has counselled Capital Group on the sale of its 27% stake in Tanner Servicios Financieros.
This transaction, closed on 23 February, reflects Capital Group’s exit from Tanner after 10 years of ownership.
Inversiones Bancarias, Anita, Administradora Tanner, Asesorías Financieras Belen 2020, and Inversiones Río Abril acted as buyers.
The advice involved the negotiation of the legal terms of the transaction and the preparation and review of the legal documentation to materialise the closing.
Mario Espinoza acted as in-house counsel and secretary of the board of Tanner Servicios Financieros.
PPU’s team was led by partner Alberto Pulido Astoreca (pictured), with support from associates Guillermo Vial, Mauricio Clavel and Simón Valenzuela. Lawyers Daniel Parodi and Ariel Castillo also assisted in the transaction.
