Estudio Muñiz promotes Anthony Lizárraga to senior partner
Estudio Muñiz has announced the promotion of Anthony Lizárraga Vera-Portocarrero (pictured) as a new senior partner of the firm.
Anthony joined the firm in 2015 as an associate, being promoted to partner in restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings in 2019. Prior to joining the firm, he was a senior legal assistant at the specialised insolvency proceedings division of Indecopi.
He has extensive experience advising banks, insolvency administrators, creditors and debtors in restructuring, insolvency, bankruptcy, banking and distressed debt transactions in various sectors, such as mining, real estate, pharmaceuticals, construction, agriculture and manufacturing. He also advises on corporate law, distressed debt and finance matters.
He holds a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Master in Finance and Corporate Law from Universidad Esan, a postgraduate degree in Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an LLM in Corporate Law from University College London.
