Estudio Rodrigo appoints new partner in the natural resources practice group

Rodrigo Elias & Medrano announced the appointment of Claudio Ferrero as partner in the natural resources practice group.

Claudio Ferrero joined the firm in 2005 as associate. He worked as a visiting lawyer at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York in 2013.

Ferrero graduated magna cum laude in law from the Universidad de Lima in 2005 and in 2012 obtained an LLM from Harvard.

At Estudio Rodrigo, Ferrero focuses on mining and environmental matters and his experience includes option contracts, joint ventures, profit sharing, shareholder agreements, tax planning, agreements with local communities, privatizations, stability contracts and foreign investment.

With the latest promotion, Rodrigo Elias & Medrano is now home to 50 partners.
