Estudio Rodrigo strengthens labour and regulatory teams

Peruvian law firm Rodrigo Elías & Medrano announced that Italo Carrano and Ernesto Cardenas have joined the partnership. 

Carrano holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2007), an LLM in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law (2008) and an MBA from Adolfo Ibañez School of Management (2016). Prior to the promotion, he was counsel at Rodrigo Elias. Carrano regularly advises clients on concessions and public private partnerships related to infrastructure projects.

Before becoming a partner, Cardenas was an associate in the labour practice group at Rodrigo. He also graduated in law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (2007) and holds a second specialization in Labor Law and Social Security from the same university (2014). His regular workload includes advising clients on the hiring of national and foreign personnel, termination of employment schemes, labor cost reduction, payroll planning and labor and tax inspections. Cardenas also teaches at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas – UPC graduate school and at Universidad ESAN.

With this new round of promotions, Rodrigo Elías & Medrano is now home to 47 partners.
