EY Legal expands its offering in Argentina and Chile

EY announced the expansion of its legal services in the Americas, with senior hires in Argentina, Canada and Chile. 

In Canada, former Norton Rose Fulbright partner Anthony Kramreither joined EY Law LLP to lead the business law team.

EY also announced that Paola Bruzzone joined Ernst & Young Ltda in Chile to head their recently launched legal services team. Bruzzone was a partner at Lewin & Co. and more recently, General Counsel for Falabella, the Chile-headquartered department store chain.

In Argentina, Jorge Garnier joined Ernst & Young, Pistrelli, Henry Martin y Asociados SRL and is tasked with building a new team focusing on corporate law in close collaboration with multidisciplinary EY teams. Garnier joins from an in-house counsel role at Genneia, the Argentinian energy company. Prior to Genneia, he was senior associate at Bruchou, Fernández Madero & Lombardi.

Both Bruzzone and Garnier bring extensive experience in M&A to their respective practices.

In the announcement, EY Law highlighted that its offering now comprises around 1,700 practitioners in member or allied firms across 73 countries.
