Feijó Lopes Advogados announces new head of tax

Feijó Lopes Advogados, with offices in São Paulo, Porto Alegre and New York, announces the hiring of a new head of tax services: Jamil Absy Jr. (pictured).

Jamil has solid accounting and tax experience, with a vast history of tax and corporate consulting projects, compliance projects, optimization and planning in direct taxes (IRPJ and CSLL) and indirect taxes (PIS, Cofins, ICMS, IPI and ISS), including M&A, for Brazilian and international clients.

Jamil is a graduate of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), a specialist in Business Intelligence & Analytics from Faculdade Paulista de Informática e Administração (FIAP) and in Tax Law from the Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies (IBET).
