Feijó Lopes announces new partner and head of labor practice
Tatiana Ruiz (pictured), a lawyer specializing in labor law and with an LL.M. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, is the new partner and head of the labor practice at Feijó Lopes Advogados, a Brazilian corporate law firm with offices in São Paulo, Porto Alegre and New York. She will work in the São Paulo office.
During her professional career, the lawyer has worked with a wide range of companies, from technology to pharmaceuticals, banking and metallurgy. She has worked as an external lawyer defending the interests of app companies in labor claims relating to drivers, participated in the process of opening and structuring several fintechs and pharmaceutical industries and acted for several years as a reference for metal companies in process management, union negotiations, HR consultancy and structuring actions to mitigate labor and social security liabilities.
Hiring Tatiana is part of Feijó Lopes Advogados’ expansion plan for 2023, which has already seen the opening of an office in New York and a 25% increase in turnover.
Tatiana Ruiz has a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University – PUC-SP (2008), a specialization in Labour Law from the Pontifical Catholic University – PUC-SP (2011) and an LL.M. with merit from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law (2015). She also has a specialization in People Management and Labor Compliance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV-SP. She has also been recognized by Best Lawyer for two consecutive years (2021 and 2022) and is a member of the Women’s Law Network (WLN).
