Ferrere and Gross Brown in ueno bank and Visión Banco merger

Ferrere Paraguay and Gross Brown have advised ueno bank and Visión Banco in the merger by absorption between the two entities, with ueno bank becoming the bank with the largest client portfolio in Paraguay, as well as consolidating its position as the first digital bank in the country.

The legal teams of both firms jointly advised the financial institutions from the initial structuring of the transaction to the completion of the merger. As a result, the Central Bank of Paraguay (BCP) through Resolution No. 22, Act No. 27 dated 21 June, has authorised the merger by absorption of ueno bank and Visión Banco.
