B&E represents DESER in Kabsa share purchase

Barros & Errázuriz has represented Desarrollos y Servicios Melipilla Limitada (DESER) in the execution of a share purchase agreement with Kabsa, a company related to the Corpesca Group.

Thanks to this transaction, a stake equivalent to 49% of the shares of the company Melifeed (Melifeed) was acquired, leaving DESER as the sole shareholder of this company.

This transaction was closed on 6 June for USD $4,100,961. Ferrada Nehme Abogados acted as counsel to Kabsa.

The advice involved the drafting of the share purchase agreement and all ancillary agreements and contracts necessary to materialise the transaction, supporting the Ariztía Group in the closing of the transaction.

Melifeed is a company that is part of the Ariztía Group and is dedicated to the rendering of ingredients for animal and fish feed, producing poultry meal and oils from the processing of poultry raw materials.
