Ferrere assists Emergent Cold in expansion in Uruguay and Paraguay
Ferrere has advised Emergent Cold LatAm on its second acquisition of 2022, which includes a cold storage facility in Uruguay, and another in Paraguay.
Together, the two facilities are around four times larger than the facilities acquired by Emergent Cold from Polo Logistico de Frio (PLF) earlier this year.
Closing of the deal remains subject to conditions and is expected to be completed in early 2023.
Ferrere’s teams in Uruguay and Paraguay were led by partners Santiago Fontana (pictured left) and Carlos Vasconsellos (pictured right), respectively. Uruguay’s team included Cristina Vignone, Maria Clara Porro, Laura Oliveros, Maria Eugenia Contreras Duque, Florencia Fitipaldo, Cecilia Alberti Belvedere, Sofía Vidal and Micaela Franco; while the Paraguayan team was made up of Claudia Arietti, Montserrat Puente, Erika Bañuelos, Kenzo Fuchiwaki, Yamina Beatriz Centurión Coronel, Magali Fernández Armoa, Antonella Llamas, Marcelo Rodriguez, Cynthia Sanabria and Melissa Nathalie Rojas Plaz.
