Ferrere counsels BARBUSS on acquisition of BOTTIAS Seguros
Ferrere, through its team in Uruguay, has counselled BARBUSS on the acquisition of the Uruguayan insurance company Aseguradores de Cauciones, which is in the process of changing its name to BOTTIAS Seguros (Uruguay).
The transaction, recently approved by the Central Bank of Uruguay, will allow BARBUSS to enhance and improve its services in the local and Latin American market.
The consultancy involved accompanying BARBUSS in the regulatory process to obtain the prior authorisation from the Central Bank of Uruguay necessary for the closing.
BARBUSS is a global company, with more than 20 years of experience, providing financial, claims management and consulting services specifically designed to assist the risk transfer industry.
