Fialho Salles advises Méliuz in partnership with start-up Liqi

The operation involves a potential minority acquisition of Liqi, depending on the performance of some indicators of the partnership. With this new purchase, Méliuz reaffirms its presence as a relevant player in the financial services sector and adds new important products related to cryptocurrencies to its portfolio.

Fialho Salles team, with partner Alice Dourado (pictured), and associates Pedro Porcaro and Fernando Sant’Anna, prepared and negotiated the investment agreement between Méliuz and Liqi, in addition to the minutes of Méliuz’s extraordinary general meeting approving the transaction and other ancillary documents.

According to Liqi’s, whenever a Meliuz customer buys or sells crypto assets, it will be Liqi Digital Assets that will provide this liquidity by accessing different pools, including the Liqi’s own pool.

VBSO Advogados advised Liqi Digital Assets. The partner Amanda Visentini together with the lawyer Patricia Catache Mancini advised Liqi from the beginning in the celebration of this strategic partnership.
