Freitas Ferraz announces the promotion of lawyers to partners

Freitas Ferraz Advogados has promoted three lawyers to partner: André Ruiz, Júlia Swerts and João Cesconi (pictured from left to right).

André, in the Litigation and Arbitration area, has excelled over the last few years in handling complex litigation and corporate disputes. He will continue to lead cases that require in-depth technical knowledge and a strategic approach, with a focus on civil and corporate matters, in the judicial and arbitral spheres.

Júlia, in the Tax Litigation area, has extensive experience in administrative and judicial litigation related to federal, state and municipal taxes. She works in the area of Customs Law and Foreign Trade, advising companies on import and export operations, through consultations and/or conducting administrative and judicial litigation. His expertise further strengthens our work in these areas.

João, in the Corporate and M&A practice group, plays a crucial role in negotiating M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and succession planning. He has a prominent role in structuring search funds and advising on investments made by this type of investor, having participated in most of the transactions carried out in Brazil in this field.
