Galvão Villani Advogados annouced Paulo Bardella and Luisa Torelly Ruiz as new partners

Galvão Villani, Navarro, Zangiácomo e Bardella Advogados announced the inception of its Corporate Law, Contracts and M&A practice area, with the addition of partners Paulo Bardella Caparelli (pictured left) and Luisa Torelly Ruiz (pictured right) in addition to other three collaborators.

With over 20 years of experience, Paulo Bardella will coordinate the new area. During the last year, he assisted more than 50 companies – from family groups to multinationals and local companies listed on the stock exchange in Brazil and abroad.

Specialist in serving investors and buyers in M&A, Paulo represents clients from the most diverse profiles and economic sectors, including large companies ranging from civil construction, cosmetics, food & beverage, and agribusiness to startups.

Member of the Corporate Law Nucleus of the Legal Committee of Italcam – Italo-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Paulo holds a master’s degree in Business Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/SP), specialization in North American Law from Fordham University in New York, in Constitutional and Contractual Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution Methods from the University of Washington in Seattle, and Corporate Law and Business Administration from FGV/SP; and graduated in Law from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in São Paulo.

Luisa Torelly focuses her work on commercial contracts, corporate, mergers and acquisitions. She has LL.M in Corporate Law from Insper and in Law and Business from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV/RJ), and a law degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ).

Along with the partners, Herbert Araújo de Oliveira, Christian Taeger and Giulia Mendes join Galvão Villani Advogados. In addition to Corporate, Contracts and M&A, the new members have experience in Capital Markets, especially in complying with the regulations of companies listed on the stock exchange, in addition to the issuance of agribusiness (CRA) and real estate (CRI) certificates and debentures.

Paulo Bardella, Luisa Torelly, Herbert Oliveira, Christian Taeger and Giulia Mendes started working at Galvão Villani on March 15th.

In this expansion, the firm renamed to Galvão Villani, Navarro, Zangiácomo e Bardella Advogados, maintaining the commercial brand Galvão Villani Advogados.
Summing two partners, the firm has now 20 fee earners. This is the fourth lateral hire since its foundation in 2019. The other partners are Carlos Eduardo Navarro, Marcel Zangiácomo, Priscila Helena Viola Zangiácomo, Salvador Cândido Brandão Júnior, in addition to the founding partner, Tatiana Villani.
