García & Bodán announces two promotions
Federico Gurdián is appointed senior partner, while partner Oscar Torres is designated as regional director of the Labour practice
García & Bodán has announced the appointments of Federico Gurdián (pictured left) as senior partner of the firm, and partner Oscar Torres (pictured right) as regional director of the Labour and Employment practice.
Federico has more than 20 years of professional experience, and currently serves as partner, regional head of the Corporate and Transactional Practice, and Director of García & Bodán Fiduciaria. Gurdián has extensive experience in corporate and M&A matters, having led several lawyers in significant transactions, serving national and multinational companies in a variety of industry sectors. His knowledge, analysis of the law and the legal provisions applicable to each specific case, allows him to anticipate problems before they occur.
Oscar has more than 16 years of experience in El Salvador. In addition to his experience in labour matters, he has been involved in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, restructurings and corporate advisory. He has advised major international companies in various sectors of the economy. He is also active in matters related to shareholder disputes and public tenders.
