Garrigues adds administrative law expert in Peru
Garrigues announced the arrival of Víctor Baca, an administrative law expert, to its Lima office.
Víctor Baca has almost twenty years’ experience advising national and international clients on major projects, on public procurement and promotion of private investment, and on penalty proceedings. He has also issued numerous reports and legal opinions for various public and private entities in the telecommunications, energy, construction, ports, mining and fishing industries.
He gained his law degree from Universidad de Piura in Peru and a Doctor in Law from Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). He currently teaches at the Law Faculty of Universidad de Piura, where he is director of the Master’s Degree in Administrative Law and Market Regulation at the Lima campus.
Víctor Baca joins Garrigues as of counsel from legacy law firm Ferrero Abogados where he was head of the administrative law practice.
