Garrigues adds Labour partner in Colombia

Garrigues has announced the appointment of Carolina Camacho (pictured) as a new partner in its Bogotá office, where she will head the Labor and Employment Law practice.

Carolina has a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, a Diploma in Labour and Environmental Law from the same university, as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She has more than 20 years of experience advising Colombian and international companies in the areas of Labour Law, Social Security and Immigration, including experience in firms such as Gómez-Pinzón and Posee Herrera Ruiz.

The new partner advises on labour issues arising from liquidation processes, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, labour due diligence reviews, collective labour issues, immigration procedures and social security contributions, as well as advising companies on day-to-day labour matters and representing them in labour lawsuits.

Thanks to this incorporation, the Garrigues Bogotá office now has 10 partners and more than 50 professionals.
