Pinheiro Neto act as deal counsel on unified tender offer issued by CEEE-T
On October 12, 2021, CPFL acquired 66% of CEEE-T’ share capital, in auction performed by the government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. As a result of the share control acquisition, CPFL had to perform a tender offer for the acquisition of the remaining shares.
CPFL Energia is a complete energy company, including distribution, generation, transmission, commercialization of electricity and services businesses, operating in all regions of Brazil. CPFL acts as a holding company, controlling the capital of other companies. State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) share controls CPFL.
Pinheiro Neto Advogados advised CPFL throughout the entire project, from the acquisition of CEEE-T’s control to the conclusion of the Tender Offer.
