Lefosse expands Tax practice with the admission of a new partner

Lefosse announced the expansion of the tax practice with the admission of Vinicius Jucá (pictured) as a new partner. The lawyer has over 20 years of experience in administrative and court tax litigation, focus on indirect taxes, such as State Goods and Services Tax – ICMS, Tax on Manufactured Products – IPI, Social Integration Program/Contribution to Social Security Financing – PIS/COFINS, and Tax on Services – ISS, and in serving clients in the food and beverage, mining, cosmetics, automotive, infrastructure, and energy industries.
With the admission of Jucá, Lefosse tax department now has 11 partners and more than 75 professionals.
Vinicius Jucá graduated in Law School from PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo), specialized in Economic and Business Law from FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas), and holds a LL.M. degree in Tax Law from Georgetown University. He is registered to practice law in Brazil (Brazilian Bar Association of the State of São Paulo – OAB/SP) and in the State of New York (NY Bar), in addition to being a member of Chapter Brazil of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA).
The new partner is also a professor at FGV-SP graduate courses.
