PPU counsels Emergent on financing for acquisition of Frigorífico Metropolitano
Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría, through its Colombia team, has advised Scotiabank Colpatria in connection with the financing for the acquisition of Frigorífico Metropolitano by the Emergent group.
In this transaction, signed on 21 and closed on 25 April, Brigard & Urrutia acted as advisor to the borrower, while Arthur Cox acted as British advisor to Emergent LatAm Holdings LLC.
Brigard Urrutia’s team comprised partner Cesar Rodriguez, together with associates Hui Min Zheng Zheng, Sebastian Ortegon and Antonio Garlatti-Venturini.
Arthur Cox’s team included partners Stuart Mansfield and Richard Armstrong, and associates Andrew McClurg and Hannah Jackson.
