Garrigues adds tax partner in Peru

Garrigues announced the arrival of José Francisco Chiarella as a partner in Peru. 

Chiarella is set to coordinate the tax law department of the firm´s Lima office. He has over 20 years of experience in the field, including tax advisory services in international projects, particularly in the areas of planning, commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Garrigues, he worked at Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados in Lima and at Ernst & Young in Luxembourg, where he was a consultant in the areas of tax planning and structuring of international transactions.

Garrigues now has over 100 professionals, including 27 partners, in Latin America. The firm boasts offices in Bogota, Lima, Mexico City, Santiago de Chile and São Paulo.
