Kennedys, the insurance specialist law firm, announced it has opened offices in Chile and Colombia.
In Chile, Sateler Depolo Diemoz Abogados, formerly an associate firm, has now fully integrated into Kennedys. The 13-strong group specialises in litigation and arbitration, with a particular focus on insurance claims and coverage advice. Partners Ricardo Sateler, Radoslav Depolo and Mario Diemoz will be at the forefront of the team.
In Colombia, the new office will be fronted by partners Mónica Tocarruncho Mantilla and Andrea Londoño Agudelo. Tocarruncho Mantilla joins the firm from Royal and Sun Alliance (RSA) Colombia, where she was General Counsel. Londoño Agudelo arrives from DLA Piper Martínez Neira and also brings insurance industry experience after working with broker Aon in London. The team will focus on claims, coverage and corporate law, for the insurance industry.
These developments are the latest stage of Kennedys´ expansion drive in Latin America. The firm now has four newly established offices in Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru in addition to formal associations in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. Globally, Kennedys has 26 international offices and 12 associate offices.
