Muñiz Ramírez adds new competition head

Peruvian law firm Muñiz Ramírez Pérez-Taiman & Olaya announced the arrival of Pierino Stucchi as a partner and head of the competition practice group. 

Stucchi is a former Deputy Superintendent at the Office of the Superintendent of the Stock Exchange (SMV) and Vice Chairman of INDECOPI’s Committee on Antidumping, Market Subsidies and Elimination of Non-Tariff Barriers. He is also a former legal manager of Indecopi, SMV investor defender, and legal advisor to the Office of the Andean Community (CAN) Secretary General.

Stucchi has a law degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and then a Master’s degree in Corporate Law with a Market Law minor from Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC). He also holds a Master degree in Law from Universidad de La Coruña and a Master’s degree in Law, Business and Justice from Universidad de Valencia.

The former head of competition at Muñiz Ramírez left earlier this week.
