GC assists Monomoy in acquisition of Waupaca Foundry

Gonzalez Calvillo has assisted Monomoy in Mexico in the acquisition of Waupaca Foundry and its subsidiaries, in the process of auditing the Mexican subsidiary (Waupaca Foundry de Mexico), in the review and preparation of the documents necessary to perfect the acquisition.

The matter was of particular relevance as in addition to the review of the transaction documents, specific documents were negotiated to perfect the acquisition of Waupaca Foundry de México.

Waupaca Foundry is the leading supplier of cast iron and machined castings in North America.

This transaction, closed on 1 March, was conducted under US (Delaware) law. Kirkland & Ellis, Diaz Rivera Lalieu Rosas and Sanchez DeVanny, also assisted in the transaction.
