GC helps HIR Casa in MXP$2bn credit facility

Gonzalez Calvillo has helped HIR Casa (Bienes Programados), through Banco Invex as trustee and borrower, in the structuring and implementation of a MXP $2 billion syndicated loan.

BBVA Mexico (agent bank), BanCoppel, Banco Bx+, Banco del Bajío, Bank of China Mexico, CIBanco, Banco Monex and Banco Sabadell acted as lenders. In this transaction, which was initiated in March and signed on 30 June, Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes acted as advisor to the lenders.

In addition, Banco Invex acted as trustee of the vehicle that contracted the loan, HIR Casa acted as Primary Administrator, and Administradora de Activos Financieros (ACFIN) acted as Master Administrator.

In addition, the advisory involved the restructuring of an existing trust used by HIR Casa and Banco Invex for a structured syndicated loan transaction entered into in 2020, the obligations of which had been previously settled.

Arturo Garduño and Alejandro Alatriste acted as in-house counsels to HIR Casa.

GC’s team consisted of partner Bernardo Reyes Retana (pictured), and associates Francisco J. Alvarez and Diego Hernández.
